The V-shaped bars also keep fat and drippings from falling directly onto the gas burners and causing flare-ups. Remove surface dirt and corrosion on the Weber Porcelain Enameled Flavorizer Bars regularly using a grill brush and a small blunt knife. Try heating up the grill first and then letting it cool down to make cleaning easier and if necessary remove the bars and immerse them in hot soapy water.
